Was suppose to wake up by 6.20am but i accidentally over slept till 6.50am so had to rush down to harborfront within the shortest time available. Luckily, the train all took less then 2 mins to arrive at the respective stations for me to change trains...
Alone i was when i arrive at harborfront interchange, watching people walking here and there in the interchange, i notice a few of them wearing the CGS shirt and hence, supposing they were a part of the CGS2009 so i went alone, buy some porridge and soybean drink at the lobby cafe, went up to the exit D of the station, sat there alone to eat...
Not before long then i notice, i was the only year 1 student around as the other participants from NP was year 2! With no company, i was alone all the way till the breakfast break when one of the year 2 REB seniors talked to me then i slowly talk to the rest of the group and hence became "friends" with them just to ask to pass my time more happily.
Typical Singapore event will attract typical Singaporean... As a student volunteer, i lead quiet a few groups around the event halls from the best of the kind to the worst of the kind... u have seen it all hahahahahah.... the first group i lead around, the leader of that group was so called a "kia su" type and the first thing she said to me was, i tell u to bring me go where u bring me. Other place later we will go ourselves so do not bother to bring us the whole place. Then she ask me: ah boy! where to change the ticket for the lightbulb arh? So i brought them to the place where phillip had free lightbulbs for the first 50 people everyday... then the phillip people told the aunties, sorry maam, the bulb for today has all been given out, come back tomorrow earlier. Aunties: aiyo! y u walk so slow arh ah boy now nothing to get le... ahhhh never mind, forget it we go take the bag... And as typical singaporean, u should know that even though its limited to 1 per person, they took like 3-4 bags and i was like... omg how many do u really need... geezzz ok then never mind.
As i continue working, one of the REB senior caught my eye... A beauty she was as compared to the people in my class, mesmerized by her beauty i just felt like the time had just suddenly stop for her but not for long i regain my composure, returning to my work station just like before with her smile deeply imprinted into my mind. Life was a bored over there and by 11, all is free to go then slack till end of the shift haha... playing hop scotch like little kids though we were like so old... had a fun filling day with many beautiful memories of both human and nature :)but the sad case was, i was never able to capture the beauty of it as my handphone camera sucks.... too sad man if not your can share the joy that i had too :) by the pictures haha but no worries man next time when i get a handphone, i make sure it has a good camera to capture the beautiful moments to share
Time passes, people changes and yet beautiful dreams always seems to be remaining at that time where everything first started...
